Asking empowering questions . . .

When we ask ourselves questions like “What can I do now to make this better?” or “What can I do now to make myself feel better?” or “What am I grateful for right now?”, it fills our mind with positive answers and makes us feel better and take positive action.

However, when we ask questions like “Why did this happen to me?” or “Why am I such a loser” we not only feel worse but we set ourselves up as a victim.  This leads us to take negative action or no action at all.

This is so true on so many levels. Self-talk matters more than what we think. Positive self-talk can really go a long way. Having a positive mindset results into us, taking positive actions. We should always look at the brighter side of life. We do not want negativity to stop us from achieving something. So what we should keep in mind is to indeed ask ourselves empowering questions so that we'll also get positive answers.
